Day 1- New Diet

What I ate today: A piece of cake, a real coke, chicken salad croissant, diary cream ice cream cone, another coke, an orange cream soda, and sushi. Don't freak- I started a new diet today via the Fritz Clinic and I was instructed to eat the highest fat food and sugar food I could find for the next 3 days. I have to say- I thought I was going to throw up the Edgars. And I couldn't make myself eat anymore by dinnertime. The doctor says I am going to be 126 pounds on April 30th. I've weighed that twice since my 20's- When I got married until I became pregnant with Mary Ashton and after I did the Atkins diet when Durham was born. I am a size 6 at that weight- looking forward to it!

Here's the lowdown:
I get an injection of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) every morning. Its the same hormone pregnant women produce. What this hormone does is gets fat out of fat storage and releases it into the blood stream (normally used by placenta to feed your baby). While its in your body for intake it can be burned so you eat only 500 calories a day- the rest of your fuel is burned from this newly released fat. The fat in your joints and in regular stores is not effected. Just the hard to release fat stores (hips, knees, butt, arms, yucky back fat, etc). The funny thing is because of all of the fat being released, 500 calories seems almost too much food. You feel really full but the moment you forget the shot, you are starving. Very interesting stuff. Hang tight- I'll be the guinea pig.
